The Pick and Peck Method of Advertising Does Not Work Too often a mom will give utilize the 'Pick and Peck' method of advertising. They'll pick a little ad spot here and peck a little ad spot there. They're fickle about their efforts and flit around from one place to another looking for the 555 visitors for $5 deal of the century. That deal doesn't exist of course - so they just keep picking and pecking without good results. Think about the great advertising campaigns that you have seen out there in the world beyond our WAHM Community. A company takes great care to create an advertising campaign and then they careful place their ads in several key locations - and they run them like crazy! You see the same ad in several big magazines. You see it in newspapers. You see it on the internet. You see it on television. Over and over again. They saturate their market with their message. And then they track it. They figure out if it is working - and why. Now, we're not advertising gurus here. But we can learn something from this.
You'll find out that this approach is much more successful. Advertising studies have shown that people respond better to advertising that they are exposed to over and over again.
